The City Manager is appointed by Vaughan Council to ensure their decisions and policy direction are effectively implemented in support of a progressive vision of building a City of Choice that promotes diversity, innovation and opportunities for all citizens.
As the head of the administration, the City Manager provides leadership to the organization to:
- drive the economic prosperity of the city
- pursue service excellence in governance and fiscal responsibility
- engage staff and create a positive work environment
- ensure exceptional end-to-end citizen-centered services
The Office of the City Manager is supported in these tasks by a professional and dedicated staff.
